Members' Calendar of Events 2025​​​​

We have planned an exciting Calendar of Events for 2024-2025 for all our members. Many thanks to each and every one of them for their support!

 

Our next events:

Taster Session Ancient Philosophy 20 January, 7.30 -8.30 pm. ​

We will be exploring ancient ethics according to the Presocratics, Socrates, and Plato. 

Members only.

Tasters’ Session (members only event) 10th February, Monday 7.30pm: Mr Niccolò Campus will lead a workshop on Latin metre, come and join us to learn how to read ancient Roman poetry. 

​

Tasters’ Session (members only event) 24th March, Monday 7.30pm: Dr Lucrezia Sperindio will introduce us to ancient lyric poetry and we will discuss texts a range of ancient poems, from early Greek lyric to Roman lyric.
